1.) Returns: There are those rare occasions where returns are necessary; any items found to be at fault or not "as described" by the advert, may be subject to a 'full money back' guarantee. To quality for a full money back guarantee, you are required to notify us within 7 days of receiving the item from our delivery vehicles by email to secondhandalloys@gmail.com detailing the problem. Please note, failure to inform us in writing by email within this specified timescale may affect your eligibility to receive a full money back guarantee.
If you inform us within the 7 day timescale, we will arrange collection of any item that you suspect to be faulty or dissatisfied with and wish to return. Please allow us 7 days to assess and respond to your request for a 'full money back' guarantee commencing when we are in receipt of the items in quest.
The item/s will be subject to a full inspection and evaluation from a fully trained member of our staff. Once verified that the item is indeed at fault, we will offer a replacement item initially in all circumstances or should the consumer wish a refund.
If the item/s is not found to be faulty by us or the consumer is simply displeased with the item purchased; we do offer a 7 day no quibble return from time of receipt of the item from our delivery vehicles.
Please note any refunds issued will be made via the same method of payment as originally used excluding any courier charges. Courier charges/postage are non-refundable as the service has been carried out; therefore any refunds issued to the consumer will be excluding any postage charges for the original distribution and the re-collection.
2.) Description of our items: Please note that we classify a high proportion of stock supplied and sold by us as secondhand items; or if you prefer, 'used' tyres and wheels unless otherwise stated. Please note that because the items offered for sale by us (Secondhand Alloys Ltd) are classified as 'secondhand/used items'. We unfortunately are unable to offer consumers any guarantee/form of warranty on the products supplied.
3.) Quality Testing: All of our items undergo a rigorous and thorough quality and control inspection from our fully trained and skilled staff. Our staff ensure each item undergoes an in-depth quality testing procedure to ensure that the products we send to our customers are of the highest quality.
4.) Wheel/tyre fitting: Upon receipt of your item (alloy wheel/s and or tyre/s); these must be fitted to your vehicle by a fully trained and reputable Tyre/Wheel Company. We will not be held responsible for any misfitting of goods sold by us. Please note should you wish to return the item purchased for any reason as detailed further below, the item must not have been fitted/used - please ensure that you check the item prior to fitting. Refunds will only be issued where the consumer has complied with the terms and conditions stated here - after the 7 day period returns are void.
